Charity Boxing Match

Richard Marks lost a good friend to meningitis. When Chloe Boniface died many of her friends felt immense pain and grief and were unsure of what they could do to help ensure this never happened to anyone again. Richard had the opportunity to participate in a charity boxing match run by the Otago University Student Administration in which fighters underwent 10 weeks of training leading up to the eventual fight. His chosen charity was The Meningitis Foundation. His goal of raising $500 was quickly surpassed.
