Advocate for Change

A small team of meningitis families and representatives gathered in Auckland to meet with Jamie Martin, a meningitis survivor, global advocate and all-round inspiration! As part of the meeting, Seven Sharp interviewed Jamie. Her main message to university students and parents was "Anyone can get meningitis, you need to be aware of this disease and protect yourself through vaccination." A separate meeting was also held with the University of Auckland to discuss on-campus meningitis awareness and education.
