The Meningitis Centre is an Australian not-for-profit organisation based in Perth, WA. It was established in 1992 by a group of parents and health care professionals who recognised the need to raise public awareness of meningitis and its various forms. The Meningitis Centre has successfully lobbied for vaccines and produced materials for educating the community. It also provides support for families affected by meningitis.

Meningitis Now is the first meningitis patient group in the world, founders of the meningitis movement and the only charity dedicated to fighting meningitis in the UK. Over 30 years, Meningitis Now has invested over £12m in early stage research that has played a critical part in the introduction of five life-saving vaccines. Meningitis Now’s vision is a future where no-one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.

CoMO is an international member organisation working to reduce the incidence and impact of meningitis worldwide. CoMO brings together patient groups, health professionals and organisations, meningitis survivors and families from more than 35 countries to help prevent meningitis through: Raising awareness of meningitis; Advocating for meningitis vaccines worldwide; and Supporting our members worldwide.
