MenB and ACWY vaccines are free for 13 – 25 year olds who are entering their first year of boarding school, university halls of residences, army barracks and youth correction facilities, otherwise the cost is:

  • MenB Bexsero – Costs approximately $150 per dose*
  • ACWY MenQuadfi – Costs approximately $150 per dose*

*Costs can vary between GP’s and Pharmacy’s

In New Zealand, you can get the meningitis vaccine at:

  • General Practitioners (GPs) –Vaccination nurses and your doctor can give the vaccine. Book an appointment with your doctor
  • Pharmacies – Many pharmacies offer meningitis vaccinations. Check with local ones to book an appointment
  • Community Health Clinics – Some clinics offer the vaccine, particularly for higher-risk groups like teens and young adults
  • Universities –Offer vaccines through their Student Health Services
